Dear believing sisters and brothers!

The days of “Ayyami-Fatima” – “The days of Saint Fatima (s.a.)” are coming. These days mark the tragic death and the good birthday of Khanum Fatima Zahra (s.a.) – the light of the Holiest Prophet’s (s) eyes, the fruit of his soul, the senior of all the women of the both worlds. Khanum Fatima (s.a.) is the embodiment of the image of the perfect man in Islam and therefore the days related to her name make the believing sisters and brothers especially responsible. During these days there is given a special chance for a man’s spiritual revival so that he can achieve happiness in the earthly and eternal life. During these days there is given a nice chance to get rid of the soul blindness, hypocrisy, lie, slander, backbiting, bad thoughts in respect of the true believers and to get rid of other low features. A human, who is the best of the creation, should follow the example of Khanum Fatima (s.a.), of other representatives of the Prophet’s (s) most pure Ahlal-Beyt (a) and strive for perfection, for fulfillment of his glorious mission – to become the true servant of God.

Oh, my Allah! During these highly spiritual days make us happy to know the righteousness of Khanum Fatima (s.a.) and to be her true followers!

About addiction to earthly enjoyments and about death

The expression on behalf of the Holiest Prophet (s) : “The most of the people are so much addicted to earthly enjoyments (that there is an impression) as if the death was prescribed only for others. As if the duty to follow the truth is only for other people. No, this is not like that at all! Why then do the next (generations) not take the lesson from the previous ones?”

EXPLANATIONS: The good Hadis stresses the very important interrelation between the addiction to earthly enjoyments and putting into oblivion the thoughts about death. Thus, the nasty condition when a man forgets about death is explained by the fact that the earthly enjoyments have defeated him. Indeed, when a man, having forgotten about the love for the Most High, turns to such provisional and temporary categories as wealth, position, money and moreover, when he begins to worship them, a man, by doing so, predetermines his spiritual death. Upon such a state of affairs he forgets about the real and inevitable death.

It’s remarkable that one of the features characterizing such a deplorable condition of a man is the circumstance indicated here, when a man follows not the truth but wrongness and moreover, when a man begins to think that to follow the truth is the obligation of others. From this standpoint it becomes clear that addiction of a man to false values, his neglecting the truth is the result of his transformation into the slave of material comforts and hence – into the spiritual corpse.

And the Holiest Prophet (s) puts under cruel and sobering critics such a state of affairs. He advises to those on the way of spiritual death to learn the experience of the previous generations and to awaken from stupefying sleep of spirit lack. As if he says: “Look at those who were before you and understand that neither their wealth, nor money, nor positions could save them from the deplorable lot!”

It would be so nice if a man could take a lesson from this good hadis and say “NO!” to addiction to earthly comforts. If only a man could get out of a whirlpool of worshipping the material and wouldn’t put into oblivion the inevitable death. He wouldn’t forget that he temporary stays in this perishable world and is awaited by the Judgment Day. The stupefying mirage of provisional earthly comforts shouldn’t keep him away from the true values.

Oh, my Allah! Save us from being defeated by any kind of addiction to earthly comforts!

Oh, my Allah! Fence us from the evil made by any adherents of earthly comforts, the violators of others’ rights!

Oh, my Allah! Put us among those who over the forthcoming “Days of Khanum Fatima (s.a.)” do not forget about death and strive for existential vividness, among those who sincerely serve You! Amen!

SHEHADET

In the 11 th year of Hijra, on the 13 th Jamadual-avval is the day of shehadet (martyr death) of the Holiest Prophet’s (s) daughter, the senior of the both worlds’ women – Khanum Fatima Zahra (s.a.) (according to the first version).

“MOTHERLAND WITHOUT ORPHANS” PROGRAM

Last week, under the “Motherland without orphans” program initiated by the religious community in 2002, a group of representatives of the religious community of the Mosque visited the boarding school for orphan children located in Shuvelan settlement. During the communication the believers tried to improve the spiritual-moral condition of the children who lack the parental custody and to assist with their physiological rehabilitation.

Information released by the press service of the regional support group of Ilgar Ibrahimoglu for the position of the UN special reporter:

###The representatives of the Caucasus and Central Asia Department of Warsaw “Center for Eastern Researches” Mr. Wajtec Bartuzi and Mr. Jarostav Druzhitski met the leading coordinator of DEVAMM (Center for Protection of Conscience and Persuasion Freedom), Secretary General of Azerbaijan Chapter IRLA (International Religious Liberty Association) Ilgar Ibrahimoglu. The subject of the meeting was the situation with the human rights in Azerbaijan. During the meeting there were drawn parallels between the processes of establishing the civil societies in the Caucasus and in the Eastern Europe. The situation related to “Juma” Mosque and the persecutions against I.Ibrahimoglu were discussed in the course of the meeting, too. The representatives of Warsaw “Center for Eastern Researches” also got familiar with the program thesis of Ilgar Ibrahimoglu as the candidate for the position of the UN special reporter on religious freedoms.
