Hadis. About particularities of an illegitimate child

On behalf of Imam Sadig (a): “Children born from adultery have some particularities: 1) they are hostile towards the Ahli-Beit (a) of the Prophet (s); 2) they are inclined to actions similar to an adultery; 3) they neglect the religion; 4) they are immoral in relations with people”.

PULSE OF THE DAY

Information of the press service of IRLA (International Religious Liberty Association) Azerbaijan Chapter:

In Klingental, France there was over the meeting of the Board of Experts of the International Religious Liberty Association. The subject of the meeting was: “Religious symbols and religious commitments in the public sphere of Europe”.

The experts, having discussed the situation in some countries of Europe and especially that in France where there are trends to limit the wearing of headscarves in educational institutions, concluded that such actions restrict the religious freedom and violate the international safety regulations in the field of religious beliefs and religious expression.

The summary document of the meeting, in particular reads: “manifestation of the religious freedom can only be limited, under the international legal documents, if it is necessary for protection of the public safety, health, public morality or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others according to the criteria adopted in the democratic societies. Thus, prohibition of religious symbols without having proved the above restrictions is the violation of the religious freedom. The religious freedom is endangered when the general rules made in the name of the state secularism limit or even exclude the visible manifestation of the religious beliefs inclusive of symbols and clothes.”

On the basis of the decision passed at the above meting, the Board of Experts recommended that the confrontational approach to decision-making process should be excluded and that it is necessary to act under the principles of the individual right guaranteed by theUniversal Declaration on Human Rights and by other legal documents.

Commenting on the decision of the Board of Experts, the Secretary General of IRLA Azerbaijan Chapter Ilgar Ibrahimoglu, in particular noted: “It is the great breakthrough in the field of the dialog of civilizations. The present decision made by IRLA Board of Experts, which is the UN Consultative Member, is, in its essence, the call for rooting out the “double standards” and for turning down the “Islam phobia”. Female Muslims’ headscarves are the manifestation of the freedom of conscience and no considerations and warnings should limit these fundamental human rights.”

Information of the press services of DEVAMM (The Center for protection of conscience and persuasion freedom) and of IRLA (International Religious Liberty Association) Azerbaijan Chapter:

DEVAMM and IRLA Azerbaijan Chapter have prepared the joint report on the results of the monitoring with regard to the processes taking place around Juma Mosque. The report has been drawn up in three languages and it describes in detail the chronology of the tragedy of Juma Mosque beginning from the 30 th of June. Please, get familiar with the final part of the said report:

DEVAMM and IRLA Azerbaijan Chapter consider the events taken place in Juma Mosque as the grossest violation of practically all the fundamental human rights and, first of all, the freedom of conscience and religion.

Experts of DEVAMM and IRLA Azerbaijan Chapter also draw attention to the grossest violations ofanumber of the juridical regulations, inclusive of:

  1. It is necessary to note that the law-enforcement bodies covered their actions by the court decision for the expulsion of the community, however, contrary to the law, the community was not provided with the official expulsion warning, was not given the time for leaving and the believers were attacked without being warned. Infringing all the laws, the policemen broke the believers’ prayer (at least they could have waited till the end of the prayer and then they could have offered to leave the Mosque), applied violence against them, insulted their religious feelings and defiled the Mosque.
  2. The fact that, running counter to the court decision, the Mosque was transferred not to the Administration of the Reserve “Icheri shekher” but to the Caucasus Muslims Board, has fully disclosed the real intentions of the authors. It became absolutely clear that the point is not about some abstract “property dispute” but about the specific intention to get the religious community “Juma Mosque” deprived of the right to perform the religious rituals under the guidance of the imam-jamaat elected by it.
  3. While refusing the religious community “Juma Mosque” in concluding the rent agreement, the Administration of the Reserve “Icheri shekher” referred to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country concerning the inclusion of Juma Mosque in the register of the buildings not subject to being rented (the community also applied for concluding the use agreement if the rent is impossible). However, refusing the community “Juma Mosque” the Administration violated the Constitutional principle of equality by having transferred Juma Mosque to the disposal of the Caucasus Muslims Board.
  4. The court decision was about the expulsion of the community from the Mosque. Not to mention the anti-constitutional nature of the court decision as a whole, it is, nevertheless, necessary to note that even this court decision said nothing about prohibition for the believers to visit the Mosque.
  5. Under the conditions when, under the law, the religion is separated from the state and the status of religious communities is absolutely equal, the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), obviously violating the law, appoints the “akhund” to Juma Mosque. And the police try to force the believers into praying behind the CMB’s nominee and arrest and beat the believers when they refuse to do so.
  6. Despite the numerous statements of the human rights activists, representatives of the civil society, different NGOs, communities, international entities, the violation of Juma Mosque believers’ human rights is still going on. One of the largest communities of the country of up to 3000parishioners, is deprived of the opportunity to collectively perform the religious rituals”.
