Dear brothers and sisters! Oh, those who already live through the good month of Radjab! Oh, those who have said the determined “no” to the rebellion of low instincts and to the inner idols!
Oh, those who love Ali (a)!
We congratulate you on the glorious birthday of the best, after the Holiest Prophet (s), of the slaves of the Most High, of the one who was born in the temple of Allah – the Caaba and who was also killed in a temple as shehid (martyr), who was called by the Prophet (s) “The door of the city of science”, the eternal emir of the true believers – Imam Ali (a)!
During this light holiday we ask the Most High to send upon our people the valor of Ali, the courage and fortitude of Ali, the wisdom and perfection of Ali and what is most important – to worship only the Most High, as did Ali!

MOVLUD (birthday).
23 years before the hidjrat (move of the Prophet Muhammed (s) together with his supporters – mukhadjirs from Mecca to Medina, which was later on taken as the beginning of the Muslim chronology), on the 13th of Radjab month, in the city of Mecca, in Caaba there was born Amir-al-muminin (Leader of the true believers) Imam Ail (a).
The 10th of Radjab, the 195th year of hidjra is the light movlud (birthday) of Imam Muhammed Tagi (a) (the 9th Imam who is also known as Imam Javad (a)).

HADIS. About Imam Ali.
On behalf of the Messenger of Allah (s): “/Imam Ali (a)/ Ali ibn Abutalib was the first of the umma /the Muslim community/ to accept Islam, among the Muslims he is the most educated one, the truest believer of them, and after me he is the Imam and caliph”.
On behalf of the Messenger of Allah (s): “Ali is the best-behaved of people”.
On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “Oh, my dear Ali! The belief (in the Most High Allah) has penetrated into your flesh and blood just as it has penetrated into my flesh and blood”.

HADIS. About Imam Ali’s (a) degree of faith.
From Imam Ali’s (a) prayers addressed to the Most High Allah: “Oh, my Allah! Truly, I worship You not because I am afraid concerning my fate and not being driven by the desire to be rewarded by You, but because I find only You to be worth of worshipping”.

HADIS. About observence of orudj (fasting).
On behalf of Imam Sadig (a): “The Most High Allah will send a thousand of angels down upon the one who observes orudj on a hot day and is very thirsty and those angels will caress his face with their hands and will deliver him good news (about his favorable destiny). And when that man starts iftar /the first food or drink after observing the orudj/ there will come the following words from the Most High: “(Oh, you, My faithful slave!) the fragrance coming from you is so nice! Oh, My angels, witness that I no doubt forgive him”.

HADIS. About self-education.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “When your inner weaknesses rebel, press upon them, put them in trouble. In this way you will be able to calm them down”.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “The victory over bad habits is the highest worshipping”.

SHAHAEDT.
The 15th of Radjab, the 62nd year of hidjra is the death day of Holy Zeinab (a). Being the participant of Kerbala tragedy she delivered to the world the truth about Kerbala and about the reasons causing Imam Hussein (s) to rebel against the despotism of the
usurper Yezid.

HADIS.
On behalf of the Holiest Prophet of Islam (s): “The one who sheds tears mourning over the ordeals of her (Zeinab’s (a)) fate is similar to the one who mourns over the torments of her brothers – Hasan (a) and Hussein (a)”.

HISTORY.
In the 5th year of beysat (Declaration of Prophecy), on the 15th of Radjab month there took place the first hidjrat of Muslims – emigration from Mecca to Ethiopia.
In the second year of hidjra, on the 15th of Radjab month there took place the change of kibla (direction point during namaz (prayer)) from Guds to Mecca.
In the 20th year of hidjra, on the 8th of Radjab month the religion of Islam came to Egypt.
In the 36th year of hidjra, on the 12th of Radjab month Imam Ali (a) moved to the city of Kufa and defined this city as the capital of the Islamic state.
In the 1371 year of hidjra, on the 12th of Radjab month there died the prominent Islamic scientist Seyid Mohsun Amuli.

CONTEST.
The 25th August 1992 is the day of liberation of “Juma” mosque. The religious community «Juma Mosque» annually celebrates this good date in a special way. This year, with regard to the 12th anniversary of liberation of “Juma” mosque, the religious community declares the contest for the following nominations:
1) The best picture; 2) The best work of children’s art; 3) The best photograph; 4) The best poem; 5) The best story; 6) The best surud (Islamic music); 7) The best paragraph for a newspaper column; 8) The best analytical material.
Taking into consideration the wish of believers, we inform you that the time of the contest has been prolonged till the glorious month of Ramazan.
