In the name of Allah
The Compassionate The Merciful
HADIS. About the faith.
On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “The best manifestation of the faith is that a man knows – wherever he is, the Most High Allah is always with him”.
On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “Pudency and faith are interconnected: having lost one it is impossible to keep another ”.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “Faith is like a tree: its roots are an absolute conviction in existence of Allah, the branches are the God fearing, sprouts are the pudency and the fruits are the generosity ”.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “By means of the faith, a man is directed to doing those actions which are approved (by Allah) ”.
HADIS. About criteria of definition of a good man.
On behalf of Muhammad Bagir (a): “If you want to know whether you are a good man or not, look into your soul: If you love those who worship Allah and hate those who rise against Him – in this case – you are a good man and the Most High loves you. If your enemies are those who worship Allah and you love those who rise against Him – then you are good-for-nothing man, the Most High despises you and you are His enemy. And a man is always beside the one whom he loves.”
HADIS. About bringing up a child.
On behalf of the Holiest Prophet: “The child who grows up learning sciences and serving Allah, on the Judgment Day will be rewarded by the Most High with savab (reward for a God pleasing action) of 72 siddigs (people keeping to the truth).”
On behalf of Imam Jafar Sadig (a): “Do not restrict your child within the first seven years of his life, let him play (as much as he wants); over (the following) seven years introduce into him useful and necessary skills, qualities, features and over the third seven-year period – be his sincere and real friend.”
About amrun-bil-maaruf (the call for good actions) and about nahun-minal-munkar (preclusion from doing sinful actions).
On behalf of Imam Sadig (a): “The first punishment for a society in which there grew up and became a teenager a man who was not prohibited to do his sinful actions – will be reduction of their prosperity”.
COMMENT. A society must in practice play a role of a factory cherishing a real man; should it fail to fulfill the mission it is entrusted with, this society proves to be doomed for different disasters. From this point of view a society, with the purpose of preventing a mechanism of self-destruction, is obliged to take care of a young generation and not to be indifferent to their destiny.
HADIS. About non-willingness.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “Non-willingness brings a nice action to nothing”.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “The best gift is the one, which is free of non-willingness”.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “A man who manifests non-willingness along with his nice action, encroaches upon courageousness”.
HADIS. About piety.
On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “Zakat /a kind of a tax, a tribute/ for a beauty is piety”.
COMMENT. As the beauty, in essence, is the divine grace and the divine gift to the mankind, then it brings along some obligations. These obligations were delivered to the mankind by the Prophet of Islam (a) and by his most pure followers – Imams (a). They, having delivered to the mankind the system of values of Allah, which is the Being-securing Origin of beauty and perfection, assessed the true beauty and its opposite - ugliness. Through the prism of the divine logic, it is discovered that for a man of beauty the piety plays the determining role and serves as the dialectical origin of perfection.
The divine conception of message combining the initial and impartial information about halal – the permitted (beauty) and haram – the forbidden (wretchedness), in practice and in an everyday life prescribes the observance of the principle of optimality.
It becomes clear that the people having no piety, which is the indispensable attribute of beauty, are indeed off the aspect of beauty and they try to hide the factual wretchedness behind the false glitter and tawdry.
HADIS. About greediness.
On behalf of the Holiest Prophet (s): “A greedy person is, as a matter of fact, the poorest of people”.
On behalf of the Holiest Prophet (s): “The best of true believers is the one who is glad with the income (defined for him by Allah), and the worst is the greediest one ”.
HADIS. About a soul.
On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “There are five actions, implementation of which enlightens a soul:
1. to frequently read “Ihlas” sura;
2. to restrict oneself while eating;
3. to communicate with scientists;
4. to pray at night;
5. to go to mosques”.
From recommendations of the Prophet of Islam (s) to Imam Ali (a): “Oh, Ali! There are five actions, which kill a soul:
1. to gluttonize;
2. to sleep too much;
3. to laugh too much;
4. to be often sad and
5. to eat haram (forbidden food), which, in its turn, gets a man away from the faith.”
From recommendations of the Prophet of Islam (s) to Imam Ali (a): “Oh, Ali! There are five actions, which strengthen vision:
1. to look at Caaba;
2. to look at the writings of Koran;
3. to look at parents;
4. to look at a scientist;
5. to look at running water”.
