The 15th of Shaban month, 225 year of hijra is the glorious birthday of Imam Mehdi Sahib-ez-Zaman (a.f.). The religious community of “Juma” mosque in Icherishekher congratulates all the true believing sisters and brothers, all the Azerbaijani people on this great holiday

PROGRAM “ASMA-UL-HUSNA” (“THE NICE NAMES OF ALLAH”)

Since 1998 the religious community of “Juma“ mosque in Icherishekher has been implementing the program called “Asma-ul-Husna”. The main purpose of this Program is to increase the public attention to the problem of children ill with thalassemia and to supply them with donor blood on a regular basis. The believing sisters and brothers are now made informed that the next donor blood campaign will be carried out towards the beginning of the light month of Ramazan. This campaign will be dedicated to the glorious movlud of the 12th Imam – Mehdi Sahib-ez-Zaman (a.f.). HADIS. About Imam Zaman (a.f.)

On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “Mehdi is one of my descendants. (His) face is like the brightest star.” On behalf of Imam Ali (a): “Mehdi is the representative of our kin, he is of Fatima’s (a) descendants”. On behalf of Imam Bagir (a): “As if I see with my own eyes that both the east and the west belong to the friends of Gahim / the assumed name of Mehdi Sahib-ez-Zaman (a.f.) /, and there is nothing which does not subject to them ”

HADIS. About Imam Zaman (a.f.)

On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “At the time when Mehdi (a.f.) of my kin makes his uprising, then there will come Isa – son of Maryam (a) so that to render him assistance, he will let him move forward and will perform a prayer standing behind him ”.

The lessons resulting from the hadis:

1. Mehdi Sahib-ez-Zaman (“the lord of time”) – the 12th Imam, invisible now, is the descendant of the Holiest Prophet Muhammad (s);
2. During the last period of history Imam will organize an uprising so that to restore justice;
3. When the 12th Imam makes an uprising, the Most High Allah will send the Prophet Isa (a) to render assistance;
4. The Prophet Isa (a) will manifest modesty in the presence of Imam;
5. By doing igtida during a prayer (performing a prayer under his guidance), the Prophet Isa will attest in practice to the highest level of Imam; The people considering themselves to be the followers of the Prophet Isa (a) are, as early as now, supposed to get prepared for the advent of the man whose guiding role admits Isa (a) himself (in other words the followers of Isa (a) are to adopt Islam so that to actually demonstrate their love for him)

HADIS. About awaiting Imam Zaman (a.f.)

On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “The highest action to be done by my umma is to live by awaiting the faraj (the advent of the 12th Imam Sahib-ez-Zaman (a.f.)) ”.
On behalf of Imam Sadig (a): “The one who lives by awaiting the advent of the 12th Imam (Mehdi Sahib-ez-Zaman(a.f.)) is like a man who, having unsheathed his sword, defends the Prophet (s) (from enemies)”.

The lessons resulting from the hadises: Faraj – the advent of the 12th Imam marks the highest culmination of existentialisation of public life. For this reason, to live by awaiting the faraj is, as a matter of fact, one of the most important components of the process of a dynamic, constant formation and development of both the public life as a whole and of a specific human individual.

Oh, my Allah! Present us the good of learning the justice – the comer stone of the religion sent down by You!
Oh, my Allah! Enrich us with the ability to comprehend Mehdi (a.f.) who, by his advent, will establish the universal welfare and justice!
Oh, my Allah! Put us among those who speed up the advent of this blessed personality!
Oh, my Allah! Put our beloved Motherland under the care of Mehdi (a.f.)!

HADIS. About the factors impacting a human destiny

On behalf of the Prophet of Islam (s): “The good towards father and mother prolongs a life, the lie decreases prosperity and the prayer prevents geza (the inevitable)”.

REMARK. It would be very correct if a man followed the indicated prescriptions holding an important place in the Islam scale of values and still more optimized his existential development. Observing these provisions a man determines a dynamic of evolving development for both himself as a specific personality and for the society as a whole. A man should understand that respect towards parents, keeping to truth, addressing the Most High with a prayer are not only the factors contributing to achievement of concrete good close in prospect but also something that opens the way for a man to the global salvation

CONTEST

The 25th August 1992 is the day of liberation of “Juma” mosque. The religious community «Juma Mosque» annually celebrates this good date in a special way. This year, with regard to the 12th anniversary of liberation of “Juma” mosque, the religious community declares the contest for the following nominations:

1) The best picture;
2) The best work of children’s art;
3) The best photograph;
4) The best poem;
5) The best story;
6) The best surud (Islamic music);
7) The best paragraph for a newspaper column;
8) The best analytical material.

Taking into consideration the wish of believers, we inform you that the time of the contest has been prolonged till the glorious month of Ramazan.
