     *The last Friday of Ramazan month is celebrated as the day of Guds. This symbolizes the solidarity related to liberation of the occupied Muslim territories.

 Ahkam (religious prescriptions)

     1.It is forbidden to observe the fasting on the days of Gurban and fitr holidays.
     2.Determination of the beginning and end of Ramazan month. The determining factor of the beginning and the end of a month by the lunar calendar is the visually seen moon rising both before and after the Sunset. The beginning and the of all the 12 month by a lunar calendar , inclusive of Ramazan month, is determined by the following methods:
     1. If a man himself sees the moon;
     2. If several credible people say they saw the moon, and by means of anything trustworthy;
     3. If two righteous and credible people say they saw the moon at night and if there are differences in their words but if they are only about determination of some peculiarities, for example, if one of them says that “the moon was in its highest point” and the other one says that “the moon has not reached the highest point yet” , in this case their words is the proof of the beginning of a month;
     4. If the moon is not visually seen, the beginning and the end of the month is determined by a calendar principle. As, by the calendar principle, a month cannot last more than 30 days, then 30 days after the beginning of the preceding month Shaban is considered the beginning of Ramazan month ; also 30 days after the beginning of Ramazan month is considered to be the beginning of the following month Shavval;
     5. The relevant statement of a scientist in theology being a religious leader is also the proof of the beginning (end) of the month.
     Remark:
     If, on the 30th day after beginning of Ramazan month, a man does not know whether this day is the last day of Ramazan month or the first day of Shavval month, then he must observe the fasting on that day. But, if before the evening azan is becomes known about the beginning of Shavval month, then he must break his fasting because the 1st of Shavval is the day of Ramazan holiday and observing the fasting on this day is forbidden (haram).
     Reference:
     Unfortunately, amid us there are “forecasters” who beforehand predict the exact date of the beginning of a regular calendar month, and doing so they indoctrinate not prepared people by various terms such as “observatory”, “astronomic calculations”, etc. It is all the more the nonsense because for many centuries the Islamic scientists of mathematics who, by the way established the first observatories, determined the precise calculations of the Moon rotation around the Earth orbit. But, surely, none of them thought of replacing the visual watch by astronomic calculations. The point is that of importance is the very visual watch of the Moon in a specific area and astronomic calculations have nothing to do with it. From this point of view, speculation intended for not prepared listeners cause bitter regret.
     Oh, my Allah! Protect all the believers from capture of Low feelings, leading, a sad lot! Do all the Umma the favour of being eternally under the existential guidance coming from the Holly Prophet (s) and from his holly Ahly-beit (a)! AMIN!
