This program started in 1998. At that time the religious community "Juma" mosque and "Islam Ittihad" Society started a new tradition, which was to conduct blood-donor campaign on some religious days to help children who have thalassaemia problem. Taking into consideration the unsatisfactory situation in this sphere and appeal of the Association of thalassaemia children parents "Savab Dunyasi", the religious community "Juma" mosque and "Islam Ittihad" Society established a new program "Asma-Ul-Husna" (beautiful names of ALLAH). The main purpose of this program is to organize a guardian group, which will consist of "blood sisters and brothers" - blood-donors, who will always provide them with blood.
     Later, the Republic Association of Hemophilia appealed to the program of "Asma-Ul-Husna" too, and became a member of this program. So, "Asma-Ul-Husna" supports not only thalassaemia children but also children with hemophilia.
     To propagandize the volunteer principles there are provided the seminars, exhibitions, competitions and other measures with participation of doctors, journalists, children and their parents, believing "blood sisters and brothers" within the program of "Asma-Ul-Husna".
     At the beginning of the 2004 the Coordination Council decided to conduct the blood-donor campaign more than ten times in year.
